When the phone is resting on your thigh or held with your arms extended during Sensor Mode, you're not looking at the screen mid-rep — you're focused on form. Voice feedback exists for exactly that moment: the app calls out your count out loud, so you always know where you are in the set without glancing down.
Steps and screenshots verified against app version: 2023.2.5
1Find the voice toggle in Settings
In the app's settings, look for "Voice" — the app describes what it does plainly: turn it on and "there will be a voice prompt" during training; turn it off and "there will be no voice prompts anymore".
2Turn it on before a Sensor Mode set
With Voice on, start any Sensor Mode workout — Count, Calorie, Time, or the free "Start a Squat Workout" — and the count is announced as you go. There's nothing else to configure; it applies across every training mode.
3Turn it off if you'd rather train in silence
Same switch, same settings screen. Some people train with music or a podcast and find voice prompts distracting — flip Voice off and SquatTrack still counts every rep silently in the background.
The setting sticks until you change it again — no need to toggle it every session. If you switch between Sensor Mode and the camera-based pose mode, voice feedback follows you to both, since it's a training-wide setting rather than tied to one detection mode.
