Brushbeaver is built local-first. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

Brushbeaver stores your brushing records locally on your device using SwiftData. There is no Brushbeaver account and no server: we do not upload, collect, or store your brushing data on our side. On-device, records are shared only within the app's App Group so the widgets, Control Center control, Apple Watch app, and complications can show the same information.
With your explicit permission, Brushbeaver writes your brushing sessions into Apple Health as toothbrushing events. This is one-way: Brushbeaver only writes and does not read your other health data. You may optionally allow it to read toothbrushing events from other sources solely to show a combined view inside the app; those are de-duplicated and never used for anything else. You can deny or revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings, and the app stays fully usable without it.
Brushbeaver contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal data with third parties. Notifications, if you enable reminders, are scheduled locally on your device.
Brushbeaver offers a single one-time unlock (a non-consumable in-app purchase). Payments and restores are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store; Brushbeaver never receives your payment details.
Because your data never leaves your device, deleting the app removes your brushing records (and any data written to Apple Health can be removed in the Health app). For any privacy question, contact us and we'll respond as quickly as possible.
