Last updated: July 15, 2026. This policy explains how SquatTrack handles information when you use the iPhone and Apple Watch apps.
Workout data stays on your device or in services you enable · camera analysis runs on-device · optional permissions are requested when needed · no sale of health or workout data.
SquatTrack stores squat counts, workout duration, goals, estimated calories, settings, and progress on your device. If you choose to enable iCloud, Apple may sync supported app data across your devices through your iCloud account.
With your permission, SquatTrack reads or writes workout data related to your squat sessions through HealthKit. Health data is used only to provide the features you request. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or sale.
Camera counting performs pose detection on your device. Video is recorded only when you turn on workout recording, and it is not automatically uploaded. The system photo picker lets you choose a custom workout background without giving the app access to browse your full library. Add-only photo access is requested only when you save a workout card or recording.
If you enable the optional Screen Time reward feature, SquatTrack stores Apple's unreadable selection tokens on your device and uses a system extension to apply the restrictions you choose. We cannot read the names, content, or detailed activity of selected apps, categories, or websites, and we do not upload those tokens.
A paired Apple Watch can exchange workout counts, duration, goals, and settings with your iPhone. Offline Watch workouts may remain on the Watch until connectivity returns. Game Center, Sign in with Apple, notifications, widgets, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple when you choose to use them.
Apple processes App Store payments, so SquatTrack does not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase status and limited diagnostic information, such as crashes or errors, may be processed by Apple or service providers used to restore entitlements, keep the app working, and fix problems. We do not sell your workout, health, camera, or Screen Time data, and we do not use it for cross-app tracking.
You can revoke camera, photo, Health, notification, and Screen Time permissions in system settings. Recordings can be removed from the app. Deleting SquatTrack removes system-managed local app data; information stored in iCloud, Apple Health, Game Center, or App Store purchase history remains subject to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
